Danny Davis | Managing Director

Entrepreneur and cannabis industry executive Danny Davis entered the space in 2013 as the founder of Convectium. In addition to being featured in numerous articles by The Washington Post, Fortune, Forbes, PC Magazine, Entrepreneur, USA Today, and others for his work, Davis was credited with leading Convectium as a “Top 10 Technology Company in Cannabis” by Engadget as well as 2018’s “Top 50 Companies in Cannabis to Work For” by INC Magazine. Davis, who took Convectium public in the US in 2018 with over a $100M valuation, sees technology, automation and creative design as the future of successful cannabis brands. As the largest shareholder of Convectium, Danny remains a consultant and outspoken advocate for their workflow automation solutions for cannabis.

Davis has since shifted his focus to the investment side of the industry with his newest venture, OffStage Holdings. The company focuses on emerging technologies that disrupt nascent industries, the first of which was an investment in Origin Labs, Inc and it’s flagship tech-enabled CBD brand, PearlCBD.

Prior to being in the cannabis industry, Danny worked in finance and technology under current T-Mobile CEO John Legere and billionaire investor Carl Icahn. He amassed over 18 years in the tech industry building security and networking solutions for Global 2000 companies with a focus on the Media & Entertainment sector. Past clients include Disney, Fox, Warner Bros., Sony and many others.

A self-proclaimed nerd, Davis holds multiple patents, as well as his BS in Biology and BA in Economics from UCR. Known as an edgy, outspoken driver of productivity, Davis’ book entitled “Break to Fix” is set for release in late 2021.
